MAN SIEHT ROT (2019)
MAN SIEHT ROT ist eine sehr ernste Komödie für alle, die schon einmal am Morgen erwacht sind und sich und die Welt nicht wiedererkannt haben.
Der ehemalige Schauspielstar Tomas Rot weiss nicht mehr wer er ist und war. Er lebt auf der Strasse und ist froh, als er eine Einladung erhält, als Modellpatient bei der Preisverleihung einer psychiatrischen Vereinigung mitzuwirken. Die Bühne ruft! Aber Rot ahnt nicht, dass die Preisträgerin Frauke Man ist, seine grosse Jugendliebe – die Frau die ihm das Herz so gründlich gebrochen hat, dass er manchmal nicht mehr sicher ist wieviele, oder ob er überhaupt noch eins hat. Frau Dr. Frauke Man ihrerseits lebt seit zwanzig Jahren in Wien und ist zur vielgerühmte Autorin des Sachbuches “Wahnsinn ist OK” geworden. Als sie in ihrem Modellpatienten ihre grosse Jugendliebe wieder erkennt, den Mann der ihr damals das Herz so gründlich gebrochen hat, dass sie seither scheinbar nichts mehr erschüttern kann, gerät der feierliche Abend aus den Fugen. Der undurchsichtige Gastgeber und eine Reihe weiterer dubioser Gestalten sind alles andere als fähig, die Situation zu beruhigen. Ja, auch die vielen anwesenden Psychiaterkollegen scheinen ein undurchsichtiges Spiel zu spielen…

The play is set in a world where fast interactions on social media such as facebook, twitter and snapchat turn people simultaneously into echo-chamber multiplicators, revolutionaries and detectives, constantly fueling and uncovering a scandalously obscene world of manipulation, violence, intrigue and false news.
A case of mistaken identity on social media lands Marvin, the betrayed misanthropic partner of a famous songstress, into the middle of a deadly conspiracy woven by the country’s powers that be. What is he to Jack, a reality TV producer, Jane, a mysterious girl on the run, Estelle, a beautiful journalist, Neil, a resourceful publicist as well as the highest ranks in politics? Marvin has to hatch his own ingenious plot to discover who’s who, get them before they get him and eventually find peace in the world he’s living in.
Complicated! is a play noir, a reverence to the movie genre of the same name, combining theater and dance in a spectacular mix. Dance, music, stage and story are in a constantly shifting dialogue. They reflect each other, contradict, emphasize, mislead, multiply, move and merge into a live experience that defies categorization. The choreography draws inspiration from all of dance history, ballet, jazz, contemporary and urban, yet asserts itself as an exciting new whole in effortless fashion. The same goes for the music, an eclectic collage that does away with all stylistic borders to create a vibrant, dark and pulsating world full of unexpected twists – just as the plot demands.

Aus Der Sonne ist ein Drama von Igor Bauersima aus dem Jahr 2016. Es ist inspiriert von realen Ereignissen zwischen 1969 bis 2008. In drei Geschichten werden die Handlungen von sechs Hauptfiguren beschrieben, sowohl parallel als auch durch gelegentlich angedeutete Berührungspunkte. Die antithetischen Pole von Dissidenz, Eskapismus und Verlust von Privatsphäre sind die zentralen Aspekte des Stückes. Alle drei Geschichten betreffen individuelle Entscheidungen zwischen Mitgefühl, Integrität und Tod.
From The Sun is a 2016 drama by Igor Bauersima, inspired by actual events dating from 1969 to 2008. Three stories trace the actions of six principal characters, both in parallel and through occasional possibilities of connection. The antithetical poles of dissidence, escapism and loss of privacy are central to the play. All three stories concern individual choices involving compassion, integrity and death.
De Mon Soleil est un drame de Igor Bauersima de 2016, inspiré par des faits réels datants de 1969 à 2008. Trois histoires retracent les actions de six personnages principaux en parallèle, avec des ouvertures occasionnelles sur des connections possibles. Les pôles antithétiques de dissidence, escapisme et perte de privacité constituent le coeur du récit. Tous les trois épisodes parlent des choix individuels entre la compassion, l’intégrité et la mort.
